Awakening Joy 2022

Awakening Joy is a 5-month program developed by mindfulness teacher and Spirit Rock Meditation Center co-founder James Baraz. Awakening Joy moves through 10 steps, each one gently training the mind to incline toward the experiential awareness of ease, happiness, and well being.

For most participants, the benefits of the Awakening Joy program are myriad:  Awareness sharpens. The heart opens. The brain begins to rewire, resulting in a greater sense of calm, a stronger capacity for compassion for yourself and others, and a fortified ability to accept with kindness all of life’s experiences—pleasant, unpleasant, and even the neutral. My 2022 Awakening Joy will meet Friday mornings beginning January 21, 2022.
